Questions about some titles
I've got to max out my lightbringer title and eotn reputation titles.
1) Is farming the quest in Sulfurous Wastes (can't remember name) still the best way to max the lightbringer title? 2)I've heard about this thing called speedbooking for the eotn titles but also heard that there was an update to fix it. Does it still work and is it a much faster method rather than doing all missions in the book? Thanks guys! |

1) If you plan on going for the vanquisher title of Elona, I would highly recommend doing that first as you will likely max or come close to maxing the lightbringer title through that. If not, the quest you describe (which I also forget the name, but I remember the Rune of DOOM) can be an effective way to obtain lightbringer points. If you have quests that reward lightbringer points, you can save those for a double point weekend to get a little extra towards the title as well.
2) Speedbooking is essentially the task of running certain missions over and over to fill up multiple books in your inventory (since only the first book is filled, you have to remember to switch the books around each time. You can get multiple books by placing the one you have in your storage and asking for another). You then turn in these partially filled books to the respective title representative to increase your title. This method does still work, if you have the patience to run the same missions over and over or pay for a runner to do so. While the full book is worth more reputation, you can complete more of the quicker missions this way and get more reputation in the long run. (ATFH runners can complete the final mission in a 2-3 minutes or so). I might also suggest leeching for asuran points this week since there are bound to be farmers farming raptors in rata sum for the holiday drops. Leeching will allow you to increase your reputation while the farmer gets all the drops and requires little work on your part other than obtaining the blessing and zoning for the farmer. Hope this helps. |

If you are chasing Lightbringer points in the Sulfurous Waste, you should have 2 quests; A Show of Force and Requiem for a Brain. This will allow a farm of Lightbringer and Sunspear points at the same time.
Guides are posted on the official wiki and the runs are not that hard to do. Like any title farming, it can be tedious if that is all you do, continuously. When I farmed my titles, I had actually completed and turned in A Show of Force (silly me). While not as quick, the same run under the Elemental and Margonite bounties was almost as fruitful and allowed me to max both titles in just under a week as a casual player. |

In regards to speedbooking to max EotN titles...you can do the speedbooking with both the NM and HM books, but the various NPCs you turn books into won't accept NM books anymore once you reach level 8 in a title track. After level 8 you need to turn in HM books.

I prefer messing in realm of torment for lb points myself.
Speedbooking - way i was doing it was to have 7 hero discordway and blasting thru - curse of the norn bear , against the charr and great destroyer - tho not tried since ele update it worked a treat . If after one type of eotn title - vaetires for norn rep ( or farm path to revelations ) , snowmen for dwarf , find a raptor farmer for asuran and what has to be easier now - repeating the first quest in hearts of north where you meet mika first time. There was a post a while ago to do with farming it - and its possiblt to do approx 6 min runs ( with speedboost ) - search should be able to find it - possible its one of CE Devilmans posts. |

Thanks for your help guys!
Was hoping that the sulfurous waste farm wasn't the best anymore since I handed them in when maxing the sunspear title years ago. Hopefully I can max the Lightbringer title through vanquishing. I'm at rank 5 at the moment. Should that be enough? |

I got bored of that quest and vanquished some of the vabbi areas (did them during their zvanquish days and got more lb points)....but that silly quest is still the fastest--not the exciting though.

There should be a double SS/LB point bonus weekend soon, so groups will form up in town for the quest. Of course, it's also a good time to do some vanqs.

The method depends highly on the reason why you want to max those titles.
If it is to participate in DoA runs, the farming lb points method is very good. For eotn titles, well most of them have a farming method. (farming raptors for asura, farming vaetirs for norn, snowman dungeon for deldrimor and speedbooking for ebon vguard.) If you want it for GWAMM I would recoomend combining it first with other titles like the elonian vanguisher and the master of the north title. |

If you want to vanquish Elona anyway for the vanquisher title, don't farm lb points, since you get enough during vanquishing. Vanquishing Vabbi and the Desolation yields lb points at the end - in addition to the shrine boni. And use the daily Zaishen Vanquish quests. They give not only many free lb points, but also many zaishen coins.
The same goes with the EOTN titles and vanquishing the EOTN areas. No farming necessary until you vanquished all of EOTN and still need points. |

That depends upon what you consider best. I didn't farm LB points that way (too boring), so I can't say what's involved, but I can say that I used to do an LB farming run through the temple in the Domain of Secrets. It may be "slower" than the SW run, but it has much better drops (chance for a few greens) and better chests (if you like to open chests and/or work on the chest related titles.)

Also keep a close eye to zaishens: some reward a pretty big chunk or rep points in no time. I maxed lb even before doing most of the vqs and with no farming at all, just from random zaishens.
And I agree that if you need vanquisher title as well you shouldn't bother with farming, that alone gives enough. |
